Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Location: Beverly, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Shift: Rotating (Evenings: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM with day rotation: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team. This travel position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent clinical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments per protocol.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and wellness.
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain patient safety.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (required at submission).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience (preferred).
- Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster, as well as the flu vaccine (required).
