Job Summary:
The Electrical Technician is responsible for the creation and maintenance of test systems as required by the controlling specifications. Work with engineering personnel to ensure that product built meets electrical requirements as defined by the provided documentation. This role will include troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support for various electrical test and measurement systems throughout the manufacturing areas.
Essential Functions:- Conduct electrical tests on manufactured products to verify their performance and compliance with specifications.
- Design and build appropriate test fixturing for manufactured products.
- Monitor and modify electrical test processes for efficiency.
- Investigate causes of electrical test failures related to production and identify root causes.
- Perform calibrations and periodic maintenance, evaluations, and repairs as needed.
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions in electrical test systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Complete relevant documentation and maintain accurate records of test procedures and data.

Qualifications:
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electrical systems, circuit controls and sensing. - Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and mechanical prints related to equipment and products.
- Experience with Hi-Pot test systems such as Cirris and Vitrek equipment is a plus.
- Experience with control panels, PLCs, AC/DC drives a plus.

Effective communication for documenting test results. - Mechanical/Electrical
Skills:
Familiarity with power and hand tools, and electrical test equipment - HS Diploma/Equivalent
- 5+ Years' Experience
- Ability to perform medium work including moving objects up to 50 pounds, operating machinery or power tools, repetitive movement of hands/wrists/fingers.
