About the opportunity

In this role, you join the Finished Goods Team and make sure final products are filled, labeled and packaged accurately. You work with clear work instructions, quality systems and digital tools to deliver repeatable, high‑quality product in a regulated production environment.

Your tasks include
  • Fill, label and package finished products according to detailed work instructions to support reliable, on‑time delivery.
  • Create and print label templates using Bartender software and Zebra thermal printers, and apply labels manually or with semiautomatic pneumatic equipment.
  • Thaw and handle solutions and light‑sensitive products, and perform liquid filling using multi dispense and serological pipettes, peristaltic pumps and balances.
  • Package final product, perform heat sealing as needed, carry out line clearance and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
  • Execute SAP transactions for material issues, order confirmations and goods receipts.
  • Record production activities completely and legibly in all required forms, in line with Good Documentation Practices, and complete assigned quality documentation training in Master Control.
  • Support compliance with ISO Quality and EHS regulations and standards, contribute to department and corporate goals and bring a team mindset to continuous improvement and problem solving.
Your profile
  • Associate's degree in a science or technical field, or you bring an equivalent combination of education and related industry experience (e.g., manufacturing or laboratory environment).
  • Comfortable working with step‑by‑step work instructions and established quality systems (such as ISO‑based or GMP‑like environments).
  • Ready to learn and use digital systems such as SAP, Bartender labeling software, Zebra thermal printers and Master Control; any prior experience with these tools is an advantage.
  • Enjoy hand‑on, repetitive tasks such as pipetting, labeling, packaging and line clearance, and you carry them out with a high level of accuracy in a regulated setting.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors and contribute to a positive, collaborative production team culture.
  • Willing to wear appropriate PPE and follow Environmental Health & Safety requirements at all times.
  • Available to work on a contract basis and can adapt to changing production schedules and priorities.

The typical pay rate for this role is $21.63/hour. This temporary and/or contract position is not eligible for QIAGEN's company benefits. The position includes only those benefits mandated by applicable state and federal law, if any, which are provided by the agency employer.
