Manning Personnel Group, Inc., is working with a Manufacturing client as they are actively seeking a Payroll/Human Resources Associate.
The Payroll/Human Resources Associate works closely with HR leadership team to ensure the smooth and effective operation of HR processes within the organization.
This position involves a combination of payroll processing, employee relations, recruitment, and HR program coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Process bi-weekly payroll for employees in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, including new hires, terminations and compensation changes.
- Prepare payroll-related reports for internal teams as required.
- Manage payroll taxes, deductions and benefit contributions accurately and on schedule.
- Support recruitment process including the onboarding activities.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support when necessary.
- Assist employees with benefit-related questions and ensure timely processing of benefits documentation.
- Collaborate as needed with external vendors to support employees with benefit enrollment matters and/or changes.
- Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in conducting audits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Support the development and implementation of employee training programs.
- Maintain HR databases and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate and report HR metrics.
- Assist in the implementation and coordination of HR programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to execute employee engagement and wellness programs.
- Participate in the development and improvement of HR processes.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, preferred.
- Two years’ proven experience as an HRBP/Specialist or in a similar HR role.
