Job OverviewThe prestigious Beverly Hilton is looking for a Front Office Manager. The hotel, opened in 1955 by distinguished hotelier Conrad Hilton, is a Forbes Four‑Star property that combines Hollywood excitement with Beverly Hills prestige. Nestled at the crossroads of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards, the hotel features 101 suites with panoramic city views and nine luxury suites within the Penthouse Collection.
The International Ballroom hosts events such as the Golden Globe Awards, Oscar Nominee Luncheon, Pre‑Grammy Gala, and Milken Institute’s Global Conference.
- Shift: Primarily PM and overnight, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Full availability required for other shifts.
- Classification:
Full‑time - Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and location.
- Manage all front‑office operations including guest service and registration, room inventory, product quality, cost controls, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, departmental management, policy implementation, and meeting facilitation.
- Supervise and develop a team of 40–50 union staff across Guest Services, PBX, Bell, Concierge, and Door.
- Monitor performance, conduct counseling and evaluations, and provide recognition and reward.
- Analyze service and satisfaction trends, address issues, and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company standards.
- Greet guests, respond to inquiries, requests, and resolve concerns promptly.
- Implement up‑selling techniques to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, policies, and local events.
- Perform audit procedures as needed.
- Recruit, interview, and train new team members.
- At least 1 year of hotel front‑office experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Open schedule availability required.
- Experience managing in a unionized environment preferred.
- OnQ experience preferred.
- Luxury hotel experience preferred.
