Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Massachusetts, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 3-5 years of L&D experience on 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details

• Work in the Obstetrics Delivery unit of an acute care hospital setting,

• Comprehensive perinatal care environment including prenatal evaluation, intrapartum care, intraoperative and recovery care for operative delivery, postpartum care, maternal/newborn couplet care for well babies, and special care for premature or higher-acuity newborns,

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,

• Every other weekend rotation required,

• Epic EMR - experience required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license currently in hand,

• Current certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association) and NRP,

• 3-5+ years of L&D experience preferred,

• Comfort with OR/operative delivery settings preferred,

• Flu vaccine required (declinations not accepted); COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed),

• Provides the full scope of perinatal services in collaboration with a major academic medical center, including labor and birth, operative delivery, postpartum, and newborn care,

• Biweekly orientation schedule,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered,
