Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. The Controller will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles.

Responsibilities and Duties:

+ Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.

+ General Ledger Management:
Oversee the general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings. Review and analyze general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies or variances.

+ Internal Controls and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and recommend enhancements to mitigate financial risks. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

+ Audit Support:
Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules, respond to audit inquiries, and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.

+ Tax Compliance:
Assist our external advisors in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.

+ Team Leadership and

Collaboration:

Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Experience with Net Suite

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.

+ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements - Proven experience working as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.

- Strong proficiency in Net Suite and Microsoft Excel.

- Demonstrated expertise in managing financial operations for international and multi-entity organizations.

- Ability to develop and implement effective accounting processes and controls.

- Solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

- Strong communication abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
