We are seeking an Associate Director, Social Media to serve as the single owner of our organic social strategy across all platforms, with Tik Tok and Instagram as top priorities and You Tube as an emerging growth channel

This role defines how the brand shows up in culture through its owned channels and how it integrates into founder- and talent-led social ecosystems through close collaboration with internal and external partners. You will set the strategic vision, establish creative standards, and scale execution through a network of freelance creators—while protecting brand voice, visuals, and tone.
This is a leadership role for someone who blends taste, structure, and performance, and knows how to scale brand presence without losing coherence.
What You’ll Own- Organic social strategy across all brand-owned channels, with clear platform-specific goals
- Strategic approach to brand presence across founder- or talent-led social channels, in partnership with internal teams
- Platform growth on Tik Tok and Instagram as primary success metrics
- Social amplification for product launches and key brand moments
- Founder- and talent-led content moments that drive brand awareness, relevance, and lift
- Brand voice, visual language, and creative standards across social platforms
- Creative direction and management of freelance creators, editors, and social partners
- Scalable social content systems, calendars, and workflows
- Performance reporting tied to growth, engagement, and conversion influence
- Set the social vision and creative direction, then operationalize it through creators and partners
- Ensure every post reflects the brand’s voice, aesthetic, and point of view
- Collaborate closely with Brand, Growth, Marketing, and Customer teams
- Use performance data and platform insights to refine strategy and prioritize content bets
- Maintain a high creative bar while operating at startup speed
- Jump in hands-on when needed, with the judgment and skillset to guide or execute
- 4–6 years of experience leading organic social for a high-growth consumer or beauty brand
- Proven success driving platform growth, particularly on Tik Tok and Instagram
- Strong brand sensibility with experience defining voice, tone, and visual identity on social
- Experience building and managing freelance or external creator teams
- Comfort working alongside high-profile founders or talent-driven brands
- Ability to connect social storytelling to business outcomes—not just engagement
- Passion for skincare, beauty, pop culture, and digital culture
