Responsibilities

• Support company philosophy and culture using Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences daily to ensure Resident Satisfaction and achieve our Mission Statement.
• Relay all tenant comments and concerns to the Assistant Director or Director of Residences for proper follow-up.
• Proactively gather tenant information and preferences to update their profile.
• Act on tenant profile information, as instructed, to delight owners and guests.
• Ensure open communication with all Lifestyle Ambassadors, Concierge, Door Person, and housekeeping colleagues to address resident requests such as package delivery, mail delivery, arrival, departure, orientation, pool area cleanliness, fitness centre cleanliness, and wellness area set‑up.
• Present a positive impression of the establishment—including lobby, pool area, conference room, fitness, and wellness area—always maintaining an optimistic attitude.
• Always protect resident and co‑worker privacy.
• Make appropriate use of PPE when handling resident requests and deliveries.
• Always follow safety guidelines.
• Provide delivery services and oversee setup at the pool, fitness, and wellness facilities throughout the shift, assisting with concierge requests or telephone calls as needed.
• Perform duties within a time‑management guideline.
• Process and handle resident calls as assigned.
• Attend handover meetings promptly, taking ownership of presented issues.
• Brief the arriving shift on any unfinished resident requests as shifts end.
• Operate simple office equipment, notifying the manager if not functioning.
• Handle concierge inquiries in the absence of a concierge.
• Arrange valet and taxi services for guests as requested.
• Retrieve towels from the laundry department.
• Ensure ample rolled and folded towels are available for guests.
• Keep the pool deck free from debris.
• Ensure the pool is free from towels, napkins, or other unwanted objects.
• Ensure both female and male bathrooms are stocked and presentable.
• Return used towels to the laundry hamper for cleaning.
• Rearrange lounge chairs and cabanas after resident use.
• Offer and assist with soft beverages to residents and prospective sales clients.
• Set up and break down the pool area, including loungers and cabanas.
• Conduct constant inspections of the gym, spa relaxation room, spa treatment rooms, wellness area, sauna, and steam rooms.
• Provide welcome beverages, including Mandarin Oriental signature tea, to all sales prospects.
• Ensure setup of the lobby boardroom and rooftop lounge.
• Cover the lobby during breaks of the residential concierge.
• Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene.
• Assist in setting up the fitness and wellness areas: fitness center, relaxation area (inside and outside), and treatment rooms with linen and towels.
• Assist in the smooth flow of the resident journey throughout the day.
• Handle, track, and deliver incoming and outgoing packages.
• Maintain flexible schedule availability to accomplish primary responsibilities.
• Communicate professionally via two‑way radio, email, phone, and written communication with vendors, colleagues, and residents.
• Hold a current, valid California driver’s license.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely, ensuring cars are locked and keys are stored or returned to owners.
• Attend training and meetings as required.
• Respond to changes in residences as dictated by industry or company needs.
• Be flexible and extend duties to meet business demands, including potential redeployment to other departments or areas.
• Complete special assignments as instructed by managers.
