Medical Assistant

Overview

A new concierge urogynecology practice that redefines pelvic and bladder care. The practice is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality, patient-centered care in an elevated and supportive environment.

The Medical Assistant will support the physician in providing high-quality clinical care while ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit. This role is ideal for an MA who values both clinical excellence and outstanding patient interaction.

• Assist the physician with examinations and in-office procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (required)
• Take and document vital signs and patient histories
• Educate patients on procedures, instructions, and follow-up care
• Manage clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with front desk staff
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations
• Sterilize, process and maintain equipment
• Monitor and order supplies
• Triage phone calls for clinical questions and results when appropriate

• Certified or registered Medical Assistant
• Phlebotomy training and experience required
• Prior experience in a gynecology, urology, or women’s health practice strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Athena (Athenahealth) is a plus, but not required
• Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a concierge-style, patient-focused environment
