What you will be doing:

Maintain database systems to store, manage and track information and data for the Hematology and Cell Therapy Department. Generate reports using standard report writing from various medical databases and from the CS Link data warehouse. Lead and coordinate data collection and data maintenance for both internal and external users as requested. Develop and maintain quality control systems required to ensure data quality, reliability and integrity.

Perform other activities require to maintain efficient, accurate data systems. Perform daily reconciliation of hospital billing charges to ensure that clinical revenue properly files to the appropriate cost center. In this role you will:

  • Obtain authorization for bone marrow transplants, CAR-T, cellular therapies, and transplant related services. Perform insurance verification for eligibility and transplant benefits.
  • Submit orders for CAR-T products.
  • Generate reports from medical database and CS Link data warehouse.
  • Maintain internal databases that track clinical/surgical volumes, clinic efficiency/productivity and patient outcomes. Track & Update BMT spreadsheet as a reference for PFS and PBS.
  • Create Case Rate notifications for distribution.
  • Reconcile patient accounts for error and patient complaints regarding billing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in business, accounting, computer science or a related major highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years in finance or equivalent office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT codes highly preferred.
