Clinical Operations Coordinator II, RN - Nursing Clinical Support - 8-Hour Days

Join the Cedars‑Sinai team as a Clinical Operations Coordinator II, RN. This role supports clinical operations, promotes quality care, and provides nursing education across our outpatient network.

• Provide direct patient care as needed within the scope of RN license.
• Support and coordinate flu vaccine program for employees.
• Ensure staff can safely perform clinical duties by assessing skill levels across RN, LVN, MA, and Techs.
• Conduct rounding and mentoring during office visits.
• Manage employee assignments to educational modules in Health Stream, Red Cap, and other platforms; develop training materials and present in‑services.
• Monitor staff compliance with professional licenses and certifications, including CPR; train and coach as needed.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of infection control standards; train staff accordingly.
• Perform pre‑employment testing on new applicants.
• Support clinical and operations employees during regulatory audits.
• Act as resource and partner to operations management and leaders.
• Assist in developing new quality initiatives, writing policies and procedures, and developing staff presentations on CSMCF policies.
• Develop tracer tools for supervising patient safety and adherence to policies.
• Train staff in scribe use in a clinical environment.
• Assist with abstraction projects; audit abstracted medical records for quality control.
• Analyze and report on data metrics; lead nursing or performance improvement projects.
• Supervise other employees, provide feedback and counseling, complete performance evaluations, and coach and mentor as required.

• Education: Bachelor's of Nursing degree required;
  Master's degree preferred.
• License/Certification: RN California State License required; BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Experience: Four years in acute care or ambulatory nursing setting; one year of expertise in nursing education.
