As a mobile medical practice serving the senior population
, we are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (MA) with strong clinical and administrative skills.
The Medical Assistant will provide direct clinical and administrative support to a designated provider, balancing responsibilities between in-office and field support throughout the week. Candidates must be adept at working with seniors, capable of multi-tasking in a busy environment, and possess strong clinical knowledge and professionalism.
About Our PracticeOur medical practice is dedicated to delivering quality medical care to seniors in their residences, particularly within assisted living communities. We are committed to enhancing the quality and scope of medical care provided to the elderly population.
Our services encompass geriatrics, house calls, post-acute rehabilitation, wound care, palliative and hospice care, chronic disease management, and more. Patients are seen in skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, independent and assisted living communities, board and care facilities, and private homes.
Minimum Requirements- Certification as a Medical Assistant is not required.
- Must have successfully completed a Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a private practice or clinical setting.
- Assist in developing and maintaining monthly schedules for up to 10 providers.
- Ensure all Assisted Living and Board and Care communities are accurately reflected on each provider’s schedule.
- Coordinate with provider support staff regarding daily schedules and updates.
- Maintain and update patient rosters for each assigned provider.
- Monitor that provider visit quotas are met and that visit notes and charge slips are completed and signed in a timely manner.
- Supervise and audit the work of provider support under assigned providers.
- Train and support new provider support team members as needed.
- Provide backup coverage for provider support when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director, Practice Manager, or Director of Clinical Operations.
- Certified Medical Assistant (MA) credentials
- Extremely strong computer skills (EHR, email, MS Word, spreadsheets)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Compensation: $25/hr+ (DOE)
