Job Responsibilities:
- Manage global tax compliance, including preparation and filing of international, federal, state, and local tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies through careful analysis of operations and structure.
- Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, responding to information requests.
- Provide tax-related financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement controls and processes to ensure accurate and compliant tax reporting.
- Collaborate with external advisors, legal counsel, and auditors to address tax matters effectively
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CPA License certification
- 5-6 years of experience in a Big Four or mid-tier public accounting firm
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, strong skills in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- 3-4 years of experience in a private equity firm, financial services, or a related industry.
- Expertise in managing tax compliance processed, optimizing tax position, and advising on the tax implications of various financial transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
