In the background screening industry, a big part of the business deals with customer service and technical support. We have many clients who run reports and need additional details on specific applicants and reports that they are running. Our technical support team needs to be able to handle all questions, and emails which are coming in on a daily basis.
This position requires you to review and edit a large number of individual reports every day. This is the main component of the position to start with.
Some of additional the tasks you will be handling will include:
- Calling courthouses for additional details on specific reports (criminal reports)
- Resetting client passwords and usernames
- Setting up new users
- Training clients on our software
- Answering phone calls
- Responding to emails regarding tech support issues
- Working with the tech support director and learning the industry
- Multi-task
- Be friendly with clients when getting back to them
- Aggressive in finding the information necessary to complete orders expeditiously
- Stay organized in dealing with each individual email/call/case
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Must be a quick learner and eager to learn the background screening industry
- Be at work on time
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, internet browsing, online research, etc.)
- Must always be punctual and reliable with attendance. (Tech support has no room for error and is very time sensitive)
Part-Time to start - 8 AM - 1:30 PM PST
After training, full time:
Monday
- Friday 7am-2:30pm
