OverviewWe’re looking for a sharp, analytical, and relentless Senior Strategy Analyst to support a UHNW founder-CEO across a portfolio of private companies, operating businesses, and investment initiatives. You’ll be the go-to person for financial modeling, research, ad-hoc strategic projects and business analysis — someone who can take complex ideas and turn them into structured insight.
The ideal candidate is a smart generalist with strong analytical, research, and modeling capabilities who thrives in ambiguity and moves quickly. You should be sector-agnostic, execution-oriented, and willing to tackle whatever challenge is most important today—whether it’s evaluating a business venture, supporting a brand strategy, running a competitive market analysis, or building the CEO’s next deck.
Responsibilities- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain robust, accurate models to support business planning, investment decisions, and strategic evaluations.
- Research & Due Diligence: Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and company-level diligence to support both new opportunities and existing ventures.
- Presentation Development: Draft clear, compelling internal and external decks and memos — from strategic plans to investor updates.
- Data Synthesis: Digest large amounts of unstructured or ambiguous information and translate it into meaningful insights.
- Cross-Sector Agility: Support work across a diverse portfolio — mining, spirits, healthcare, and more — with a willingness to learn quickly in each domain.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Tackle one-off analyses and strategic inquiries from the CEO and leadership team — be the “Swiss Army knife” for solving hard problems.
- Execution Support: Assist with preparing data rooms, responding to RFPs, interfacing with legal and finance teams, and coordinating third-party advisors.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
- 5-10 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate development, or a high-performance startup environment
- Advanced Excel skills — you love building models, not just reading them
- Strong PowerPoint skills — able to communicate clearly and cleanly
- Excellent written communication skills — polished, concise, and thoughtful
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited direction
- Ability to work across multiple sectors and contexts — intellectually flexible
- Professional, articulate, and able to interface with external stakeholders when needed
- 401(k) with matching
- Health savings and flexible savings account
- Short-term and long-term disability insurance
