Office Manager / Executive Assistant to Founder of Hedge Fund
Century City, Los Angeles
Monday–Friday, starting as early as 6:30 AM- to TBD but around 4pm (flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed)
Compensation:
Up to $150K DOE + generous bonuses, vacation, health and dental insurance
Start Date:
ASAP
- Manage the Founder’s complex calendar, meetings, and daily schedule with a high level of discretion.
- Coordinate detailed travel arrangements (business and personal), including private aviation, accommodations, and ground transportation.
- Oversee office operations: vendor management, supply inventory, organization, and overall maintenance.
- Assist with the setup and smooth operation of the new LA office space.
- Prepare and reconcile expenses and credit card statements.
- Support internal/external meetings and team events across LA, NYC, and SF offices.
- Provide high-level personal support, including interfacing with household staff and managing appointments.
- Serve as a liaison between LA and NYC teams, particularly during the Founder’s time in the Hamptons.
- Troubleshoot basic tech issues, swap out cables or PC equipment, and ensure smooth execution of AV and Zoom meetings. While an IT team is in place, the ideal candidate takes initiative to find quick solutions, including using Google or other resources.
- A polished, sophisticated, and service-minded professional who takes pride in being a true “doer.”
- 5+ years of experience as an EA or Office Manager, ideally supporting C-level executives in finance or other high-pressure industries.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications a plus.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to handle troubleshooting independently.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and composed under pressure.
- Willingness to be available during evenings, weekends, or when the principal is working from the East Coast.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
This is a growth role with long-term upside—financially and professionally—for someone who proves themselves. While the core duties are EA and Office Management, there is opportunity to take on more strategic or project-based work over time. Bonuses are generous for those who consistently show up, follow through, and go above and beyond.
