East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker (Adults) to join their Adult Social Care service in Beverley on a locum basis.

The Role

As a Qualified Social Worker within Adult Social Care, you will:

Hold and manage a varied caseload of adults with diverse and sometimes complex needs

Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and outcome-focused support plans

Undertake Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments and best interest decisions

Carry out adult safeguarding enquiries in line with statutory duties and local procedures

Work collaboratively with health colleagues, providers, families, and partner agencies

Produce high-quality assessments, reports, and care plans within agreed timescales

Promote independence, wellbeing, and choice through person-centred, relationship-based practice
