A growing construction business is seeking an Assistant
Quantity Surveyor to further grow their pre-construction commercial team. This role helps provides vital commercial input during tendering and early project development.
- Assist with the review of contracts, specifications, and tender documents, highlighting risks and obligations.
- Help provide commercial and contractual advice to pre-construction, design, and project teams.
- Support the negotiation of contract terms and development of payment schedules and cash flows.
- Assist in forming procurement and subcontract strategies.
- Attend prestart meetings to support commercial and contractual discussions.
- Recent graduate or experienced assistant
- Awareness of JCT, NEC, or bespoke contracts.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn and develop
