Reports To: Commercial Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a产权 market‑leading company who are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a key role providing commercial management across a variety of projects, working closely with and supporting a commercial team.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and issue Applications for Payment and secure client approvals
• Manage and settle Final Accounts within set timescales
• Recover retention and manage project finances effectively
• Collaborate with Project and Site Managers to monitor progress and resolve issues
• Issue and manage Sub-Contract Works Orders and variations
• Assess subcontractor performance through site visits
• Review and approve Sub-Contractor Applications for Payment, issuing certificates as required
• Authorise and receipt Purchase Orders
• Produce re-measure reports and project-related reports for the Commercial Manager

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Experience in a QS role
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently
• Proven track record in managing accounts, payments, and subcontractor performance
