Primary Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in an agile team environment supporting a large-scale program.
  
  Own and deliver software solutions in Java, C++, and other modern languages.
• Learn and apply new technologies (e.g., Angular, Rust, Scala) to meet evolving needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with efficient solutions.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and support urgent requests when needed.
• Communicate clearly with teammates, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Travel occasionally to Manassas, VA for integration and team collaboration.

Contract Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field that provides strong software development skills.
• Clearance:
  Must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Certification:
  Must be willing to earn an IAT Level I (or higher) certification after hire (company-supported).

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands‑on professional experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing production applications in Java and/or C++, with a strong emphasis on existing codebases.
• Experience working with service‑oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise integration patterns (e.g., SOAP services, XML/JSON messaging, WSDL, message queues) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with modernizing or integrating existing systems, including refactoring, performance tuning, and incremental adoption of newer technologies or frameworks.

Compensation
$95,000.00

Salary Range $95,000 - $100,000
