ISN is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to work on mission-critical, fully custom-built Salesforce applications and APIs supporting federal programs. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on deep Apex and LWC development, custom service layers, integrations, and ongoing production support.

All ISN Salesforce platforms are custom developed, including proprietary APIs and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate is a strong coder who enjoys building, scaling, and supporting complex production systems.

U.S. citizenship is required. Active or prior security clearance is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on senior developer building and maintaining custom Salesforce applications and APIs
• Design, develop, version, and support ISN’s proprietary REST/SOAP APIs and service layers
• Build and enhance custom integration frameworks using Apex, LWC, Platform Events, and asynchronous patterns
• Develop and support solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce (as needed), and Flows
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents, including API failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks
• Participate directly in production support and incident response
• Perform deep root-cause analysis and implement durable fixes
• Optimize systems for high-volume transactions, concurrent users, and long-running processes
• Enforce secure coding standards and API governance
• Collaborate with product, operations, and federal program teams on service design and enhancements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years Salesforce development experience with heavy hands-on coding
• Strong Apex and Lightning Web Components expertise
• Experience building and supporting custom APIs and integrations
• Production support and troubleshooting experience
• Strong understanding of Salesforce limits, performance optimization, and secure service design

Preferred Qualifications

• Active or previously held security clearance
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification(s)
• Experience in federal or regulated environments
• Experience with high-volume or multi-application Salesforce environments
