As a software engineer, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface + data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user‑focused solution. We’re looking for a software engineer to lead a team as they develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production‑ready system, in an exciting, agile environment.

As a seasoned software engineer at Ever Watch, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open‑source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end‑to‑end solutions to your clients. You’ll analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You’ll share your skills as your team utilizes new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements.

• Experience with Linux CLI
• Experience writing scripts using Shell/Bash/Python
• Experience with Linux administration including software integration, service management, configuration management, and routine sustainment operations related to provisioning, storage, and networking.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, libraries, and packages in a Linux environment
• Experience with Java and Python
• Experience with stream/batch Big Data processing and analytic frameworks including Spark
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana
• Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma and 9+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, or Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience as a software engineer

• Experience working with and debugging GPU-enabled applications
• Experience with distributed processing technologies such as Spark, Dask, or Ray for data processing ETL workflows
• Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, and vector databases
• Experience with HTMX or Hyper-script
• Experience with HW/SW aspects of multi-node, multi-GPU AI model training
• Knowledge of AI inferencing solutions such as Nvidia NIM/TRITON, vLLM, and direct deployment (e.g. Ray)
• Knowledge of LLM orchestration such as Open API API
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including Confluence and Jira

Compensation at Ever Watch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific. Typical range is $86.54 to $98.55 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of Ever Watch’s total compensation package for employees.
