Duration: 12 months with possible conversion to FTE
Employment Type: Contract role on W‑2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – in office once a week
Payrate: $70.00 – $74.00

Who we are looking for / Requirements:Required Skills /
Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience in software development with expert level expertise in multiple programming languages and methodologies
- 5+ years hands‑on experience with Android native application development languages, frameworks and tools (e.g., Kotlin, Java)
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
- Experience with MVVM architecture, and familiarity with Jetpack Compose is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and cross‑team collaboration are critical. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, technical leader who can work effectively with various teams, including UX, backend, and product, to ensure projects stay on track.
What you’ll be doing :
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship – Trains and guides team members, identifies process improvement opportunities, and provides input on budgets and project/resource estimates.
- Technology Delivery & Project Oversight – Ensures successful execution of technology projects, including complex analyses, requirements validation, coordination with service providers, operations, and infrastructure, and monitoring of service levels.
- IT Governance & Compliance – Adheres to and promotes IT standards and governance processes, balances business and operational risk, and ensures proper project management practices.
- Service Provider Management – Monitors and validates service provider performance, ensuring schedules, deliverables, and metrics are met, while proactively resolving issues to minimize client impact.
- Leadership, Execution & Stakeholder Management – Builds and leads effective teams, communicates vision and strategy, drives results, and maintains strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal/external stakeholders.
