As a Graphics Software Developer, you’ll work at the forefront of technology, developing critical training systems such as the Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (CIAT) and Anti‑Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. You’ll craft real‑time, three‑dimensional graphics systems—including a submarine periscope simulation, a submarine bridge simulation, and a ship weapons simulation—used throughout the U.S. Navy.

All software is developed in a Linux environment, written in C++ and OpenGL, and utilizes the Unreal graphics engine.

Your contributions will be integral to real‑world naval operations. You’ll have the unique chanceਾਹ to travel to strategic locations such as Pearl Harbor, San Diego, and Norfolk, where you’ll see firsthand the effect of your work on naval readiness.

Do you have an advanced degree or ongoing education in computer science, or a strong background in advanced math or physics? Ideal candidates bring expertise in 3D game development, visual modeling and simulation, VR/XR development, multi‑threading, GPU shader programming and optimization, and data visualization.

• Education:
  
  B.S./B.A. in Computer Science oraning equivalent experience.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance (Interim Secret clearance required upon employment).
• Skills:
  
  Minimum of 10 years of experience developing applications using C++. At least 8 years of C معاملات development experience with Game/3D Simulation programming, 3D graphics development, or other visual simulation systems. Experience utilizing a graphics engine such as Unreal, Open Scene Graph , or similar. At least 1 year of experience developing software under Linux.

• Education:
  
  Advanced degree, ongoing training in computer science, or an advanced math/一定 physics background.
• Skills:
  
  Knowledge of basic CPU/GPU hardware, familiarity with high‑performance computing, understanding of hardware architecture as it relates to Cτός and the PCI Bus, CPU, GPU and RAM optimization. Experience developing for virtual reality headsets. Familiarity with GLSL or HLSL and OpenGL, Vulkan or similar APIs.
• Tools:
  Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity,airt Godot, Open Scene Graph  or Vulkan Scene Graph  engines. Experience with Nvidia Nsight or similar profiling tools.

• Tools: 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop, or similar modeling tools.
