As the
** Fire Alarm and Suppression Technician**, you will perform routine and complex maintenance and repairs on various fire alarms systems and suppression equipment.
*
* ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*** The purpose of this position is to inspect, service, maintain, repair fire alarm and suppression systems.
* Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
* Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
* Shall develop and implement procedures to identify and prevent defective services from recurring.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*
* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

*** NICET Certified Level III  or IV required
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Fire Protection/Life Safety Industry including:
** KNOWLEDGE &

SKILLS:

*** High level of knowledge & application of the National Fire Alarm Code and pertinent UFC codes.
* Must be thoroughly capable of reading, interpreting, and applying system design plans, as well as building construction drawings and documents.
* Ability and willingness to work independently and as a team member on all aspects of fire sprinkler systems, including maintenance, testing, repairs, and troubleshooting
