Job Description:
Senior Scientific Advisor for Program Support on a contingent contract based in CONUS (Bethesda, MD) with the NIH/HHS portfolio, providing environmental health and safety support, hazard monitoring, training, and compliance across NIH facilities to enable continuity of biomedical research operations.
- Advise NIH leadership on high-risk scientific projects.
- Provide insight on biomedical hazard management.
- Contribute to NIH safety policy formulation.
- Support advanced occupational health research.
- Education / Experience:
PhD + 10+ years (distinguished career in biomedical sciences). - Skills:
Scientific analysis, strategic advising, research oversight. - Competencies:
Leadership credibility, foresight, influence. - Ancillary Details:
Reviews high-level occupational health reports; shapes NIH safety and health strategy. - Other Details: NIH-level subject matter expert.
