Role Overview

This Regional Vice President - Life Wholesaler will be charged with achieving premium objectives within an assigned territory that includes financial professionals within Prudential's Agency Distribution channel. The role works closely with producers to increase their revenue through the sale of life insurance, building strong business relationships, strengthening case development skills, constructing client presentations, and accompanying producers to client meetings. The Life Wholesaler will also deliver sales concepts, product information, competitive data, and provide technical guidance to producers.

The role requires both travel and virtual selling and engagement skills and includes individual, small group, and large group meetings.

The position covers Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Candidates must live in the territory.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of wholesaling experience, preferably in Life products, or experience as a Life Sales Manager responsible for coaching, teaching, training, and joint work with Advisors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Life Insurance business, including an understanding of the sales process and the dynamics of selling Life Insurance products.
  • Ability to drive sales objectives.
  • Understanding of advanced markets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Strong understanding of compliance.
  • Current Life and variable licenses in resident state and all states within territory.
  • FINRA Series 6 (or
    7) and 63 licenses required.
  • CLU, ChFC, CFP or similar designations preferred.
  • Travel required.
