Seasonal Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

The Congressional Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to oversee operations at one of our Restaurant Outlets. This role is ideal for students in a hospitality program who are eager to develop their skills in restaurant management, team leadership, and member satisfaction. You will work closely with the Director of Restaurants and other assistant managers to ensure exceptional service while fostering team camaraderie and growth.

• Supervise daily dining service operations at one of our Restaurant Outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Be a visible presence on the floor, engaging with team members and Club members alike.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide coaching and development for Servers, Bartenders, and Server Assistants.
• Maintain and enforce high standards of service and hospitality.
• Assist with greeting and seating members and guests during service.
• Support team members as needed by assisting with tasks such as order-taking, wine service, and guest inquiries.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Address and resolve member feedback related to food, beverage, and service.

• Enrollment in a hospitality program (required); CMAA student chapter involvement is a plus.
• Passionate about food and beverage service with strong leadership qualities.
• Previous experience in a hospitality role is required.
• Previous experience in a supervisor role is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
