Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, with a strong focus on menu planning and fine dining. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that meet our guests' expectations while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
• Assist in menu planning, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times.
• Provide assistance as needed for catering events or special functions.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
• Experience in fine dining or catering environments is preferred.
• Proficient in menu planning and understanding dietary needs as a dietary aide.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.51 - $20.16 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
