Job DescriptionThe Analyst position is a full-time, salaried position located at our office in Bethesda, MD. This position is geared towards graduating seniors and recent graduates who will begin a full-time position over the summer.
Analysts are focused on conducting extensive research using open-source intelligence and proprietary databases and incorporating their findings into written reports on individuals, companies and other deliverables to our clients. Successful candidates will be able to support our team in cases involving high-stakes, time-sensitive investigations and major transactional due diligence matters in the U.S. and abroad.

Responsibilities- Conduct extensive research using open-source intelligence and proprietary databases and incorporate findings into written reports.
- Support the team in high-stakes, time-sensitive investigations and major transactional due diligence matters in the U.S. and abroad.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely investigative results.
We welcome graduating seniors from all majors to apply, though a focus on journalism, business, criminology, library science, political science or international relations is preferred. We also welcome individuals with graduate degrees.
Preferred QualificationsApplicants must have superb writing and analytical abilities. Prior journalism, investigative, due diligence, or legal research experience is a plus but is not required. Experience with any of the following should be highlighted in the application:
- Conducting investigative research on individuals and companies using open source intelligence methods;
- Identifying and/or interviewing individuals with information on a specific subject matter;
- Searching U.S. (federal and state) and international court websites;
- Utilizing proprietary databases such as Lexis Nexis, Bloomberg, TLO, IRB, Westlaw, Edgar, etc.;
- Extensive Internet search engine and social media research;
The salary for this position is $72,500 annually. Rosetti Starr offers attractive benefits, including healthcare and 401k plan with a profit-sharing component.
