NOTE:
This position requires on-site work in one of the cities below, including local travel when necessary. We provide relocation support for candidates who have confirmed plans and timelines to relocate.
You excel in high-pressure startup environments. You have a proven history of serving affluent clients who demand exceptional, personalized service. You're convinced that AI can transform education, and you're eager to advocate for that vision—even to doubters. If these conditions feel challenging, this position may not align with your strengths.
Alpha operates outside traditional schooling norms. We're a technology startup demonstrating that every child possesses exceptional potential. Our students complete their core academic work in two hours daily through AI-driven applications, then dedicate the remainder of their time to practical competencies: public speaking, analytical reasoning, collaborative challenges, and meaningful projects. No conventional lectures. No filler assignments. Just rapid learning progression and top 1% performance outcomes nationally.
Families anticipate concierge-quality experiences. You will regularly address concerns about screen exposure, defend our approach against traditional education advocates, and counter skepticism from those who find our model implausibly effective.
During the initial zero-to-one phase, this functions as an enrollment sales position. You control the entire pipeline—from first contact through executed enrollment contracts—with defined conversion goals and CRM oversight. Campus launch requires a minimum of 25 enrolled students. Achieving that threshold is your responsibility. You will facilitate compelling informational sessions, guide individualized campus visits, maintain persistent follow-up, and finalize enrollments. After reaching 25 students and bringing an admissions director onboard, your role transitions to serving as the campus's lead parent relations executive.
You will cultivate loyalty, address concerns with meticulous care, and transform satisfied families into vocal champions who actively recruit others.
This position offers significant trust and independence, with explicit accountability. You will operate independently without extensive administrative infrastructure, marketing resources, or established operational manuals. Strategies evolve in response to performance data. Systems are still maturing. You will create them. Most of your working hours will be spent in the community (networking over coffee, lunch engagements, Chamber of Commerce participation) rather than at a desk.
You will maintain visibility during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal periods. Evening parent gatherings and occasional weekend student events are standard expectations. In a cohort of 25, a single poorly aligned family can disrupt the entire dynamic, making the ability to decline unsuitable families as critical as enrolling appropriate ones.
The upside? You will observe changes rarely seen by traditional educators: skeptical parents transforming into passionate advocates, reserved students delivering confident presentations to adults, families selecting your campus over prestigious private institutions. You will build an operation from the ground up and claim ownership of outcomes.
If you're convinced that conventional schools are underserving children and a superior alternative exists, this represents your opportunity to demonstrate it.
