A national Hotel Management Group seeks an experienced Hotel Director of Sales with full-service hotel experience to lead its Sales Team in driving room sales, occupancy, and events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong tenure with Marriott at full-service properties and is a Hotel Ambassador and Team Builder ready to establish a high level of rapport with clients.

• Salary: $100,000 to $125,000 per year
• Aggressive Commission Program – 1.5% of Sales!

• Overall success of the Sales and Marketing team to maximize total revenue and ensuring sales goals are met and exceeded
• Establish client base, cultivate relationships, build business, and create a stable and positive work environment for the team
• Spend significant time out of the hotel surveying market, researching new clients/opportunities, and understanding market conditions
• Observe local market trends and competition
• Conduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and develop leads
• Support and develop the Sales Managers

• Minimum 5 years of Sales experience
• Minimum 3 years of Management experience
• Current employment with a Marriott brand that uses CI/TY
• Experience with Budget Preparation, Forecasting, Revenue Generation, Analytics, Coaching, and Sales Team management
• Any combination of education and training within hotel sales or other sales experience considered
• Past Hotel Director of Sales experience is a plus
• 4‑year College Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Knowledge of hotel structure and interdepartmental operations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide friendly, positive client service
• Ability to conduct site inspections across the hotel
• Detail-oriented
