A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable national security and intelligence organizations achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the intelligence community needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Proxmox, Cisco, and other, to build cutting‑edge solutions to support worldwide high‑priority missions enabling the nation's defense and responding to evolving adversaries. You'll innovate, prototype, deploy, and maintain enterprise‑wide virtualized infrastructure, troubleshoot complex network and user issues, analyze current work infrastructure, and increase the security, reliability, and availability for mission‑critical network systems.

You’ll apply your expertise in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Proxmox, or similar, to help build and maintain a worldwide network. Your role s and responsibilities will include both the front and back‑end of the network infrastructure, and you'll be supporting users that are executing some of the most high‑priority missions that the US intelligence community has to offer.

Your knowledge of virtualization and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in virtualization and VDI networking, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission‑critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with virtualization technology, such as VMware, Proxmox, Cisco, or a virtualization platform
• Experience with vCenter, ESXi, Horizon, Citrix, or platforms on a distributed network to enable VDI communications
• Experience translating customer requirements into a deployed virtualized environment
• Experience supporting a distributed multi‑site networking environment
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with enterprise storage technology, including Network Attached Storage (NAS) via Network File System (NFS)
• Experience using VMware Power
  
  CLI using Microsoft Power Shell
• Experience with VDI
• Experience with Windows administration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Clearance :
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
