Overview

Job Number: R0232595 — Cloud Engineer, Mid. The opportunity involves working with experienced cloud computing and Dev Ops practices to help clients modernize IT infrastructure using enterprise cloud platforms. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to build automated, reliable solution components and explore container apps with Kubernetes within a Dev Ops framework. You will have access to internal Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP labs to engage with client challenges and deliver scalable technical solutions in the healthcare space.

You will join a team to evangelize and engineer automated, faster, and more reliable solutions to support clients in healthcare, with opportunities to work on legacy modernization or new builds and to lead continuous integration and deployment initiatives.

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure

• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions, including automation, observability, and monitoring

• Experience implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure

• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, network architecture, and security principles

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Public Trust

• Associate s degree

• Experience with Dev Ops best practices, including reusable Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Terraform or Cloud Formation, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker containerization or orchestration

• Experience in the healthcare or public health domain

• Experience with FedRAMP

• Amazon or Azure Cloud Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen s total compensation package for employees.
