Job InformationMaximus is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect or System Modeler to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client’s IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision of driving interoperability across organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a model-based IT enterprise architecture.
- Work closely with IT Enterprise Architects to determine model views and gather needed data.
- Work with partners that are not familiar with modeling and help them translate their IT architecture into a model.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- B.S. degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (M.S. preferred); and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience
- May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering, with proven experience translating concepts into SysML or UML.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
- Excellent communication skills for technical writing, oral briefings, and executive-level products.
- Ability to consider IT architecture issues from many different perspectives.
- Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and advancements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- SysML Model Builder Intermediate or SysML Model Builder Advanced certification.
- Experience analyzing compliance with an IT Enterprise Architecture.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., Magic Draw, Rational Rhapsody, Cameo, Genesys, etc.).
