** This is a contingent position based upon contract award
** K  is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
** Responsibilities**:
* Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
* Analyzes system requirements and provides support to design and development activities.
* Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
* Provides technical guidance and support for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
* Provides technical support to application and tool development teams.
* Coordinates with software architects and other technical delivery team members to overcome technical obstacles.
* Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts.
* Communicate with other program personnel and government staff

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's Degree
* Ten (10) or more years’ experience with system requirements, system development and implementation, system testing, etc.
* ** Active TS/SCI clearance is required
*** Ability to derive an understanding of stakeholder needs and functions that may be logically inferred and implied as essential to system effectiveness from system requirements
* Experience supporting system requirements and system integration at the enterprise level
* Experience following a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces
* Experience with Agile project management principles and processes

Qualifications:

*** Experience supporting the federal government or DoD
** Clearance**: TS/SCI w Poly is required
** Basic Compensation:**$129,500 - $194,200

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
** Additional Compensation:
** K  may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
