• Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.
• Optimize Informix DB performance to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure management and security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all infrastructure activities.
• Lead efforts to automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Document infrastructure configurations and procedures for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in infrastructure management.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans for infrastructure growth and scalability.

• Possess extensive experience in Informix DB Administration demonstrating a deep understanding of its functionalities.
• Have a strong background in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in optimizing database performance and ensuring system reliability.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The annual salary for this position is between $79,240– $133,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
