GovCIO is currently hiring for a Computer Security System Specialist for our NIH-CIT proposal. This position will be located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position.

• Communicate, investigate, triage, monitor, and respond to security incidents, events, alerts, and issues according to standard operating procedures and in collaboration with NS Operations.
• Contribute to alert threshold refinements and continuous improvements to the Security Section for the benefit of customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor's with 5-8 years of cyber system security experience (or commensurate experience).
• Clearance Required:
  
  Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance.

USD $ - USD $ per year. The posted pay range reflects the expected range at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will” position and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or department/team performance, and market factors.
