Exciting opening for a SME Information Assurance Specialist to support a large customer organization in the fast‑growing National Security Group. This position is located in Bethesda, MD
. Candidates must presently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.

• Provide expert guidance in all areas of information assurance, system integration, and program management to enable high‑level decisions about future IT systems across the Integrated Command (IC).
• Develop assessment criteria (metrics, measures, key performance indicators) for security requirements and implementation guidance.
• Participate in external cybersecurity governance, policy, and standards bodies.
• Evaluate existing and emerging technologies and recommend strategies to support mission requirements.
• Provide talking points at a senior level for leadership.
• Act as an SME sounding board for discussions on future IT enhancements, developments, and influence real decisions on future IT directions.
• Provide input and guidance on current and future IC SoCCs.
• Provide feedback on integration activities across the entire IT portfolio.
• Provide cutting‑edge input on areas of future investment for the customer.

• TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience in the cybersecurity responsibilities listed above.
• MS degree and 15–20 years of relevant experience.
• Detail‑oriented, consistently producing high‑quality, concise, thorough, and accurate products.
• Extensive experience performing Assessment & Authorization with Greenlight.

• Familiarity with SCOR/CIRT/SCEC waivers, IC SSC reporting and Jetstream, Xacta, Altitude.

Pay Range: $ – $ (general guideline only; actual compensation determined by responsibilities, experience, education, and internal equity).
