Medical Front Desk Coordinator

Overview

A psychiatric care practice is seeking an experienced Medical Front Desk Coordinator to support daily front office operations. This is a full-time, in-office role requiring reliability, discretion, and prior experience in a medical setting. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable working in a patient-facing behavioral health environment.

Candidates must be open to commuting to Bethesda, MD initially, with a planned relocation to Alexandria, VA in approximately two months.

• Answer and manage incoming phone calls
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Communicate with patients in English and Spanish
• Support providers and front office operations in a psychiatric care setting
• Maintain accurate patient and scheduling records using medical and HR systems
• Handle insurance-related tasks, including Medicaid and Medicare
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

• Experience in a medical setting (front desk or equivalent)
• Reliability and discretion in handling patient information
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to work in a patient-facing behavioral health environment
• Willingness to commute to Bethesda, MD and relocate to Alexandria, VA within two months
