Position Overview

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy. This individual will foster strong relationships with healthcare payer organizations and drive new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage deep expertise in healthcare and payer sales to establish and grow relationships with payer organizations and integrated health systems.
  • Lead payer sales opportunities in the payer segment.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles within organizations, managing multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Tailor product offerings and sales solutions to meet the unique needs of healthcare payers.
  • Understand market trends, customer needs, and industry regulations to adjust sales strategies and product offerings accordingly.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and updates to sales team leadership.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and product offerings.
  • Provide feedback from customers and market insights to help shape product development and business strategies.
  • Work closely with sales leadership team to establish annual sales forecasts and growth plans.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, with at least 15 years of experience in healthcare and payer sales, preferably recently selling into provider teams at payers.
  • Strong understanding of selling into payers.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and closing complex payer sales deals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives, healthcare leaders, and payer stakeholders.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions and sales tactics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
