• Coordinate patient and family care with clinical center staff
• Assist in coordinating and planning programs to meet the social and emotional needs of patients and patients' families
• Screen patients for protocol and clinical trial participation
• Provide short term counseling related to adjustment to illness and protocol participation

• Master's Degree in Social Work, licensure for independent clinical social work practice
• Must have medical malpractice insurance
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a team
• Resourcefulness in problem solving
• Ability to apply systems theory and work tactfully and cooperatively at all levels
