Medical Technologist

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) to support a 13-week travel contract in a Transfusion Medicine (Blood Bank) department with a nationally recognized healthcare system.

Job Summary:

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Blood Bank professional with strong experience in type & screen, antibody identification, and transfusion processing
, looking for a stable day shift assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Testing:

• Perform laboratory analyses, quality control, and proficiency testing per SOP and CAP standards.
• Verify specimen integrity, prioritize work, evaluate and interpret data, and document results.
• Assist with evaluation and implementation of new methods.

Instrumentation:

• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Document all QC and maintenance per policy.

Key Requirements

• ASCP or AMT certification (MT, MLS, CLS) – required
• Minimum 5 years of Blood Bank experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related life sciences
• Strong working knowledge of transfusion testing and laboratory instrumentation

• Location: Bethesda, MD 20814
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) + every other weekend

* Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
