Ultrasound Technologist

Overview

Ultrasound Technologist - Sonographer. Looking for Full and Part-time Ultrasound Technologists to provide services at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD for the Radiology Department. In this role, you will work side-by-side with active-duty military personnel performing a full range of ultrasound technologist procedures.

Day, Evening and Overnight shifts are available!

• Degree/
  
  Education:
  
  Successfully completed a program of Ultrasound education as recommended by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support:
  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

• Minimum of two years of experience in ultrasound following completion of training to include one-year in-hospital experience. An entry-level career contract exemption will be considered for qualified students assigned to WRNMMC.
• Possess acquired experience which has provided familiarity with medical care, anatomy and physiology, and U.S. technology including physics.
• Board Certification:
  All US Technologists will possess current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Technologist (RDMS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Inc. (ARDMS).
• Licensure/Registration:
  Valid unrestricted license in at least 1 state, territory or commonwealth of the US.
