Electrical Designer​/Engineer

This position will support our joint venture with partner company, Dayton Group, Inc. DGI-ATI (JV) has a current need for a full-time Electrical Designer/Engineer to provide electrical system design, project management, and construction administration to support renovation of biomedical research laboratories at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.

• $115,000 - $130,000 annual salary depending on qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline OR 10+ years of experience with electrical systems and their design
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in an architecture, engineering, and/or construction environment
• Understanding of applicable electrical building design standards and codes such as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electrical Code (NEC), and International Building Code (IBC)
• Specific skills required include circuit lighting and power, fill in panel schedules, motor circuit sizing, lighting calculations, SKM Power Tools, and fire alarm system design and devices layout
• Proficiency in electrical design using AutoCAD and REVIT
• Background in healthcare and/or laboratory electrical design is a plus
• Ability to secure an NIH clearance in a timely manner
