Senior Dev Sec Ops Automation Engineer to design, enhance, and sustain CI/CD automation across the DSOP ecosystem. This role focuses on pipeline engineering, automated security integration, and improving deployment velocity and reliability for Army mission systems.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for DSOP applications and services
- Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checks
- Build infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Git Lab/Git Hub Actions
- Support containerization, image hardening, and pipeline governance
- Troubleshoot CI/CD workflow issues and optimize build/test processes
- Implement best practices for automated deployments within secure DoD environments
- Partner with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams
- Enhance deployment reliability using observability, monitoring, and automation tooling
- Must have active SECRET DoD Secret security clearance
- 8–12 years of Dev Sec Ops , automation engineering, or platform engineering experience
- Strong understanding of Git Ops, CI/CD, and containerized deployment models
- Expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and pipeline tools
- Experience integrating automated security controls in regulated or DoD environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
