Verigent’s client is seeking a highly skilled Cisco Voice Engineer to support and administer a secure, Cisco voice infrastructure within a mission-critical environment. This role requires deep expertise in Cisco VoIP system design, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support, including upgrades and enhancements.

• Perform on-site installation and repair of Cisco voice systems in accordance with contractual service level agreements (SLA).
• Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of Cisco voice systems.
• Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related Cisco voice systems problems.
• Diagnose hardware and software system related failures utilizing established Cisco troubleshooting practices.
• Prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and service availability metrics.
• Perform daily maintenance/repair/project tasks independently and provides updates to on-site management as requested/warranted.
• Monitor and provide support for voicemail systems and other CUCM components such as CER, Unity, etc.

• A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience within a Cisco VoIP voice system environment, a combination of standing up new systems, upgrading existing systems, and/or maintaining established installed base systems.
