Preconstruction Manager | Bethesda, MD | Up to $140K DOE Client

• Lead conceptual and detailed estimates across all trades, including quantity takeoffs, scope development, and subcontractor bid leveling.
• Support bid strategy through risk analysis, pricing reviews, and collaboration with senior preconstruction leadership on final submissions.
• Manage key estimating elements including vendor outreach, bid lists, internal pricing data, and bid day coordination.
• Contribute to negotiated and hard bid pursuits, including value engineering and scope clarification.
• Maintain strong awareness of market conditions, cost trends, and subcontractor capabilities to inform pricing decisions.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and post bid discussions to defend estimates and support award strategy.

• 3+ years experience in Estimating or Preconstruction.
• Experience with a GC preferred; large MEP or civil/site subcontractor backgrounds considered.
• Ability to estimate all divisions; strong working knowledge across all major construction trades required.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Pantera, Procore, or Building Connected beneficial.
• Must be authorized to work in the US, without sponsorship.
