Overview
- Coordinate field operations for assigned areas and trades on construction projects.
- Ensure construction work aligns with planned sequences and schedules.
- Implement and enforce safety and quality control procedures effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate installation of work per contract documents and project plans.
- Develop understanding of project milestones and ensure timely achievement.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of contract documents and assigned scopes of work.
- Optimize equipment utilization and plan for efficient resource allocation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proactively identify and develop industry relationships to secure projects.
- Supervise field workforce to ensure cost-effective and timely project execution.
- Monitor budgets and address discrepancies to align with project expectations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with standards.
- Develop hazard recognition procedures for new activities to ensure safety.
- Recruit and retain top industry talent to enhance team capabilities.
- Direct subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Utilize construction management software for effective project oversight.
- Maintain alignment with organizational standards of excellence and ethics.
- Exceed stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and execution.
- High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
- 4-6 years of construction management experience in field supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in construction management software like Procore, Plan Grid, and P6.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and successful implementation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to direct subcontractors and suppliers effectively.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes including scheduling and contract administration.
- Alignment with organizational standards: self-motivated, adaptable, ethical, and results-oriented.
- Ability to build relationships and foster team development.
- Field experience in managing projects worth $15M+ is highly desirable.
